We would have loved to have had some gristly chunks in here, but this is gravely and has a little bit of a rubbery consistency. The bacon is ground up into bits, and it’s not all that exciting. We only found two slices in our entire meal, which isn’t nearly enough to leave us feeling satisfied. Shapiro points out that she recommends frozen meals under 600 calories. The high calories are a red flag in this Hungry-Man frozen dinner. PER MEAL: 820 calories, 39 g fat (12 g saturated fat, 0.5 g trans fat), 1130 mg sodium, 86 g carbs (5 g fiber, 22 g sugar), 32 g protein. The chunks of chicken are also pretty reasonably sized. We’re not sure if those are authentic grill lines or if they’re painted on, but the smoky flavor suggests an actual grill.
